How It Works
1. Submit Your Artwork
Share photos and basic details using our submission form.
2. We Review Your Submission
We review each submission and will let you know if your artwork appears to be a fit with what we buy. We may ask for more details or for time to do some research. For some pieces, we'll ask to see the work in person before making an offer. If so, we'll arrange a time and place that works for you.
3. You Receive One Written Offer
When we're interested, we make a single offer based on our read of the work and what it's likely to bring when resold. Our offers reflect what artwork actually sells for at auction and through dealers, which is often different from the asking prices you might find online or at a gallery.
There's a reason for the difference. Getting artwork in front of the right buyers takes time and risk, and there's no guarantee of outcome. We take that on so you don't have to.
You're always free to accept, decline, or take time to think it over.
4. Verification, payment, and transfer
Once you accept an offer, we schedule a time to meet in person at a convenient location. We inspect the artwork to confirm it matches what was submitted, complete a bill of sale, which includes transfer of ownership, and pay you on the spot by business check. We never pay with cash or payment apps.
